as part of projects to improve and strengthen the production and transport of drinking water in the city of Douala the director general of the Cameroon Water Utilities Corporation (Camwater), a client launches an open national call for tendersFor emergency work to carry out four (04) Urban flow drilling 140 m3/h extendable at 200 m3/h according to the table's capabilities for an additional flow of + 17,600 m3/day
Priority sites with assets of creation of production and regulation with the worksexisting hydraulics and the presence of electrical energy nearby and areas with high subscribers are as follows:
1 ndogbong drilling of 180 m3/h;
2 Cite des Palmiers of 180 m3/h;
3 Logbessou of 250 m3/h;
4 Koumassi of 180 m3/h;
implementation strategy
Realization of the objectives of this project will be guided by an effective implementation strategy, aimed at guaranteeing the quality, sustainability and relevance of the actions undertaken The implementation strategy is available in several key phases:
1 geophysical and hydrogeological studies: Before the start of drilling work, complementary geophysical and hydrogeological studies will be carried out these in-depth studies will make it possible to better understand the geological structure of the subsoil, to identify the areas conducive to the implementation of the boreholes and to assess the capacityAquifers to provide a sufficient quantity of drinking water
